WEEK 5 1/2- SURPRISE!

haha like the title?:) thought so:) well we leave monday morning and needed a time to finish up packing and washing so here we are while i wait:) first off we DID get another apostle this Tuesday! such a blessing! M. Russell Ballard! He didn't have a set topic but talked a lot about the service of a missionary. One thing that I loved was he said "Be sure to bring your families with you on your mission. They deserve to be there the whole time with you." AHH! i thought that was amazing! i think i'm doing a good job at keeping you all here am i?:) (i forgot my journal so this is gonna be really short:)
WEDNESDAY
dropped off my dry cleaning today! had class with both Soeur waldron and Frere Pehrson umm i honestly can't remember what happened! but it was a long day and it was good cause we were at the MTC right? i had a dream last night that three other elders in the zone gave me a blessing...so i went to them and told them and we all agreed it was a sign...haha but literally when they put their hands on my head, every single doubt or question that ever came into my head this whole time, was answered during that blessing. like not even kidding you a bit! EVERY QUESTION! none the less i was crying and it was a good blessing
THURSDAY
today we had in field orientation ALL DAY LONG. it was a good experience but it was just a class that went from 8-6 and we learned on how to be able to communicate with investigators and working with members or all that stuff...kind of a long day like i said, but it was good none the less! We had Frere pehrson the rest of the day which was just learning some french stuff and then just staying in the class and doing personal study all night!
FRIDAY
Today was one day! haha it was good we had service (LAST TIME CLEANING THE NASTY BUILDING) and then personal study! we then had soeur waldron come in and teach us and i had a little breakdown but soeur waldron brought me out and talked to me. it was good! then Frere pehrson mysteriously found out about the breakdown and had me talk to him about it too...soeur waldron told him haha she was worried. but it was a good day!
SATURDAY
today has been a sad day of goodbyes and pictures all day! this computer is dumb but i am trying to figure out how to send some so be patient! like i said, lots of letter writing and pictures today! but it was a good way to say goodbye!

well i love you all! thanks for everything and i cannot wait to talk to you on MONDAY! JE VOUS AIME!!

WEEK 5- LAST WEEK IN THE MTC!

Bonjour tout le monde! Comment ca va?! (Hello everyone! How are you?) I cannot believe that it's already been one week! ok so here's the low down on the apostle rumor from last tuesday! Turns out i was right and Elder Richard G. Scott came and talked to us! he spoke on prayer and the importance of prayer as a missionary! SO COOL! haha here we go on another exciting week!
WEDNESDAY
Today for TRC we got to do skype someone that actually lives in FRANCE! SO COOL! his french was so fast! but what an amazing experience! i couldn't believe it! it made me so excited to just get there and learn the language! it went well...we taught him on the LDM (livre de mormon) and it was great! turns out that the guy we taught was our teachers ex-boyfriend...super funny! then we taught a french guy that was vacationing in Morocco and he was HILARIOUS. he was sitting by the pool and cracking jokes and by the time we were about to teach him a lesson it was time to leave so he started talking in english and he was all "wait i like you guys why are you leaving?! don't you have a lesson?" haha so great! best trc ever! that was the best part of the day...we just learned french the rest of the day so that's good i guess!
THURSDAY
Today was a day that i realized that throughout my mission there are going to be things that i don't understand what's happening and why, but that the Lord does and he wants me to just relax and be happy! for personal study i decided on charity to be the topic! it was amazing, the peace i felt and how much i learned. me and elder beach decided to teach Carmelle about charity today and it was a great lesson! i literally said maybe 3 sentences and elder beach did the rest and she stopped us after the lesson and said that she thought that was the best lesson that we'd ever had! don't know if that means she doesn't like hearing from me or what;) but ya! today elder beach said he was feeling nasty so we went to the doctor and he had a 101.5 fever! so we were rushed to the hospital and got him feeling better by the end of the night! tonight i was supposed to have a subway sandwich from mom...but when i got back from the hospital, the mailroom had smelled it and taken it from me :( sad day! but it was a good one full of blessings!
FRIDAY
What a long day! but what a good day as well! started out with service...Dad i clean the building that you stayed in when you were at the MTC and can i just tell you that it is the NASTIEST building in the MTC? eww i hate it haha but it went good and we got out early again which meant nap time! but then it was study time! SHOCKER! haha today carmelle brought her muslim boyfriend to our lesson and we got to teach them the law of chastity...now if that isn't fun i don't know what is! seriously so awkward you don't even know! but it was good enough cause at the end we got the approval! we got our travel plans at lunch today! so great! best part of the day! for dinner our teachers for some reason came and ate with us! so that was fun! like a big family party!
SATURDAY
today we started out with a ton of waiting cause soeur waldron came late and the sisters got to teach carmelle so it was just a lot of study first thing! we then realized we were late for zone teaching! so we ran to that and learned about the importance of teaching with the spirit. me and elder beach got to teach two elders about prophets and it was cool to notice that. i've noticed a lot lately that i'll be teaching lessons and just talking solely in french! how weird! and that when i'm talking normally it is so much harder to speak french...coincidence? I THINK NOT! it definitely really cool to see that though! but the rest of the day was just study and teaching so it was a good day! i love the feeling of being able to speak french! when i get good maybe i'll send a whole letter home in FRENCH?:)
SUNDAY
What a great day it was! it was so amazing being able to participate in the Ogden Temple Rededication! we started out the day with study cause the dedication wasn't until 10 so i was studying and before i knew it, i was asleep:/ whoops! but i was suddenly awakened when it was time to go to the dedication! we got there and were seated by 9:30 and got to watch a powerpoint of temples around the world. Did you know that i LOVE temples? and that so many pictures were of the OQUIRRH MOUNTAIN TEMPLE?:) pretty good day! the dedication was awesome! learned so much from elder bednar and president monson! he did not look very good though and that made me kind of sad:( but it was amazing! we were able to participate in singing the spirit of god and spirit was amazing in the MTC! these missionaries are so amazing! but then we had district meeting and we talked on the LDM and how KNOWING it is true can bless your life. it was such a good lesson! Then during sacrament the topic was repentance! we learned so much and Sister Newell told us that repentance is something that we need to abuse! cause there are things in life that we might think are not big deals but they are! she talked of how she would always chew gum while being the mission president with her husband in sweden and when her son told her she couldn't cause it was breaking mission rules, she realized that was something she needed to repent about. just for chewing gum! it was an amazing talk! then her husband, president newell, who i love, and who was President Richins daughters mission president, talked on how a family in his mission used repentance to work towards baptism! such a good sacrament! then we had our sunday walk, in the RAIN, hence the pics with the umbrella! so much fun! we decided to go to choir this week and they informed us that if we were going to be there during conference that we would be singing in the priesthood session! GAH! MISSED IT BY ONE WEEK! ahh well i'd rather be in FRANCE!! the speaker tonight was the last MTC president and he talked on how it was important to be the best missionary you can be and it was really good and then we had movies! there was a movie of Jeffrey R. Holland speaking so we went to that but it was full:( so instead...we went to the testaments, IN JAPANESE! haha such a funny experience!
MONDAY
Today for study time i read a lot in alma 32-37 cause our teachers challenged us to and to relate it to the atonement and find relevance to teaching. it's pretty amazing and i challenge you all to do that! we then got really bored so we were taking weird pics and that explains the one with me and the elder and my teacher looking weird with the glasses! but it was good! then we taught frere pehrson and i think he might suffer from short term memory loss cause we taught him all about baptism last week and when we asked him if he'd be baptized he said he didn't know what baptism was! haha funny huh? so maybe before i leave i can get a commitment out of him! the rest of the night consisted of studying, laughing, spirit animals, writing, french and being a missionary!
TUESDAY
today we decided that since it was our last time to attend the temple we would make it count! we did initiatories, an endowment, and sealings! and no one passed out this week! we got to be witnesses for a live sealing too! a man was sealed to his deceased parents and the spirit was definitely present! such a cool experience! we got to the temple at 5:25 AM and got back at 10:30 AM! what a good morning! and rumor has it there is ANOTHER apostle tonight! i'm pretty stoked!

Well fam and friends! i don't know if i will be able to email on Saturday, but if i can't i will definitely email you when i get to PARIS! i hope you know how much i love you all! you are all in my prayers constantly and mean the world to me! thank you for the constant support and prayers. I feel them and i am BEYOND grateful for them! well i bet the next time i talk to you will be in PARIS! I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!!!!!! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!

WEEK 4- "WANTING SO BADLY TO GET ON A 14-HOUR PLANERIDE..." AND OTHER MISSION MOMENTS

Bonjour mes amis! Comment est-ce que il est déja Lundi encore! Cette semain a (Hello my friends! How is it already Monday again! This weeks has) (gone by so fast...don't know how to say that yet;) but here's the laydown:)
WEDNESDAY
Today we were supposed to teach Carmelle, but time ran out and so instead of having us teach her, she had me and Elder Beach teach her during companionship study...luckily we got to do it in English and it went SO well! we were studying the atonement so i thought it was going to be a trainwreck but it was so good! Then at the end she hinted to us that she wanted to know more about marriage so we planned for that for our next lesson. Today at TRC things went way good! Me and Elder Beach taught in unison so that's really good! Today there were a few soeurs in the zone that had an emotional day so we had to comfort them and get the drama down...but it's ok! I also got a package today that may or may not have contained CAFE RIO! let's just say that i automatically became everyone's best friend and was the talk of the building;) just kidding, but everyone thought i was pretty special! LOVE MY MOM!!!
THURSDAY
Today was kind of a crappy day...it seemed like the whole day someone was just trying to get me and i just wanted it to end...you know? i think i'm kinda starting to get a little sick of the MTC and wanting so badly to get on the 14 hour plane ride!;) during personal study i was reading a lot about the savior's resurrection and i came to realize how precious that is to me and how sensitive i can be to that! it was a good feeling. Today we assigned ourselves an investigator which meant that i got to pick someone less active i knew and play a role as them! i picked someone very dear to me ... and got to put myself in their shoes. i really felt so spiritual and hope someday this person might come to know of the love of the savior! we got to go outside tonight to play soccer and heard the noise from the first home BYU football game! it was so good to hear music! speaking of music...i want to know all the new songs that have come out! i hear theres a new t swift? hook me up!
FRIDAY
Today started positive, went bad, and then went so good again! We started out with service...i had to clean toilets....and it's nasty cause we clean a building that we don't even use! NASTY. but then we taught Carmelle and not even kidding...we had a killer lesson today! we even picked a hymn we could sing with her, and when we got to teach her...it went so bad... she was asking things we didn't even know how to say.. and she had to stop us in the middle of our lesson and tell us that it was going way bad..she told us that we weren't working as a team should and that we need to work on being better...so to say the least i was like really mad cause i thought it was going to be killer and she told us that it was really bad...but i tried to stay happy! Later today...there are these people at the MTC who are legit investigators that get paid to walk around and let missionaries practice teaching on them. We were challenged by frere pehrson to find one and....WE DID! she is like a prime investigator. her name is Sarah and she's like the happiest spunkiest self-confident person i've ever met! she promised to meet with us on Monday!
SATURDAY
Today started out with Soeur Waldron helping us plan for the whole next week...literally it took 3 hours....ahhh kill me! but it was productive i guess...we then got to teach Francois and things went really good! we taught about baptism and at the end we asked him if he would be baptized if he found these things to be true....and he said maybe! which isn't yes but it isn't no right? ahh! but he told us after that that was one of the best lessons he'd ever had taught by us! so that made me happy! then we had to practice teach on some of the other elder's in our class in french and that went really well! then tonight, there's a sister in my district who's kind of like a hippy haha she's so great! but she has this thing she calls spirit animals where you find out what kind of animal you are through an imaginational journey...kind of weird but also so fun! we did it and tonight i could see mine, but people all around me were like i'm a rhino, or horse, or polar bear, or dog! haha so funny!
SUNDAY
What a good sunday! we started out with meetings and....i got released as District Leader this week! good and bad thing...i don't get to pick up mail anymore...and that's about it! haha Elder Wells is our new district leader! Today Soeur Hudson taught us about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and things started getting pretty emotional. it was such a spiritual experience! then for sacrament meeting, the Montreal District sang a Child's prayer! it was so good! i still haven't had to give a talk in French, i bore my testimony last week so hopefully that gets me off the charts!;) After our walk to the temple, we decided to give this spirit animal thing another try...and i found mine! no mom i'm not a duck...I'M A PENGUIN! haha it is the weirdest thing..but when you've been cut off from the world for 4 weeks, sometimes you go insane right? after that i just read a bunch of talks on LDS.org til the devo! The movie we watched tonight was called the restoration a joseph smith story. it was so emotional and i cried like the last half of the movie! so good!
MONDAY
today was such a good day! for some weird reason...the MTC decided to make us move buildings for class though and so we went to move our stuff from one building to the next, and it took like an hour and a half! gah...i hate moving! haha but we planned out our "english fasts" for the next two weeks at the MTC, which is when we're only allowed to speak french, and then we had lunch. For comp study me and Elder Beach planned out our lessons with Francois and Sarah and when we taught Francois, he said we did really well! he is such a cool guy..i love him so much!!! and then he did interviews with us and i'm so glad he did cause i kinda just wanted to talk to him...for some reason i felt really stressed and i felt so much better when he calmed me down. he is like my favorite person at the MTC and i am so grateful i get to know him! The soeur that's in those pics i sent, the one that's my new BFF? she is amazing at the piano! she can't read music so she plays by ear! she played so many hymns for me and she is quite amazing! then when we came back, the native french speakers are in our new building and they came and talked to us! so cool but i am in such trouble...haha i can't even understand them sometimes! haha oh well i'll learn right?
TUESDAY
Today at the temple we were doing sealings cause there were some elders in the district that had never done it before. it was so cool! but funny story! there was a newly wed couple that came in...they told us it had been 8 months, and when we were on the last name, she legit passed out cold and flopped on the floor! oh my goodness! i was like all scared but when the sealer kept the sealing going and didn't stop the whole room was laughing! and when she finally came to, she started laughing too! scariest moment of my life...i thought she was dead..haha! but it's been a good day i would say! and to make things better, there are rumors going around the MTC saying there is an apostle at tonight's devotional! stay tuned!

Merci pour toute le monde! je suis tres reconnaisant pour toute le monde! (Thank you for all the world! I am very reconnaisant for all the world! -hahahaha google translate ;) ) i love you all and can't wait til we can talk again! thank you for your loving support! Jusqu'a prochain temp!
JE VOUS AIME! (Temp up next! I LOVE YOU!)

WEEK 3- "I HAD A REVELATION..."

holy cow! what a week! first off thanks to everyone for the letters on DearElder and the packages! i loved all of them! keep them coming too!:) thank you for all the prayers in my behalf...i seriously feel them and know the support from home is helping me out!
WEDNESDAY
Today was a pretty good day! We had a ton of really good teaching and spiritual experiences and the day literally zoomed past! Soeur waldron started out today with a french lesson...verbs, grammar, yada yada...kinda like school but whatevs, but then taught us the importance of the investigators praying! it was an amazing lesson! Personal study went great! i was at the temple on that tuesday and had a question about something so this week i decided that was what i was dedicaing my studies to...trying to figure out what it meant. i studied that and found some stuff out but not everything..Today, our teachers forgot to tell us, but we had TRC...teaching resource center or something? but we essentially go in and teach an FHE lesson in french to a member...i guess i wasnt paying attention to the instructions cause i didn't hear they were already members...so i taught a lesson trying to get them to convert...haha pretty funny...i'm kinda stupid i guess! we literally had 10 minutes to prepare 2-20 minute lessons...and they went pretty well, except for them actually being members... hahah i know i'm a hoot. Elder Beach said nothing both lessons so that kinda bugged me...he would get asked questions by the members..and not say anything back...whatever. i got really in depth with them and was saying things i didn't even know i knew...it was way cool! i got one of mom's packages today and that made me soooo happy!
THURSDAY
Today when we got to class, soeur waldron was waiting for us and writing in her journal. she told us that she was just writing about a prayer that was answered that morning! she told us she'd been praying about her brother, who right before her mission had fallen away from the church and her family. She said she had thought he'd been living in Texas for a few years but never knew and the night before, she texted his friend to check in on him and that that morning he had texted her back saying that he had moved back to Orem and had a good job and was now taking care of his body! she said that he struggled with major depression and had been suicidal in the past. she said that it was a major answer to prayer and that her family was so blessed to be ok. it was a good spiritual experience! She was crying really hard and you could tell of the love she had for him! Then we had personal study and i looked up more about my question, and found a scripture that not only answered my question, but had my exact question AS A VERSE IN ALMA. i was pretty stoked! Then we taught Carmelle, our investigator, without notes! she told us she's been praying and reading and thinking she might get baptized! it was a good lesson! i got another package today from mom! it was good!
FRIDAY
Another good day! we have service on fridays and usually have to work til 845 but we got a new guy this week and only worked til 830! and we didn't have class til 915 so we got to take a nap! it was awesome! since i found my answer to my question, today during personal study i just wrote mom a note...i think i needed a break right;) haha then we had lunch and soeur waldron wanted to do interviews. so i expressed to her my dilemma with Elder Beach and how during lessons he doesn't necessarily help plan them and what not and she told me she'd noticed that and that she wanted to talk to him and make sure he is doing all right. But then after she left Brother pehrson came and today we taught our second investigator...which is him...named Francois. The lesson was on the restoration and Joseph Smith and it went well cause Elder Beach actually talked! and he said stuff! and helped out while we were there! we asked him to pray to close the meeting, francois, and he said not this time...thats ok though! then we set up a time for another meeting and went back to class. it was good.
SATURDAY
Today went by really fast but seemed like it was so long! we started out teaching a lesson to Carmelle, and it went good. we just emphasized the importance of baptism and what not. then after she sat us down and asked how our companionship was going. this was as soeur waldron btw...and asked what we were doing to be a good companionship. she said she could sense that there didn't seem to be a unity between me and Elder Beach so we talked about that and i think that may have helped! after that i wrote her a note saying thank you and stuck it in her bag. i'm glad that i have her as a teacher cause she really seems to care about all of us, as every teacher should right?;) then frere pehrson told us he got a complaint from the building saying that our zone was always off task...which is kinda true but not all the time...i mean we're 18-20 year old kids...what do they expect;) but we got a lesson on diligence which really helped us out a lot! Then we had planning and study sessions. i got a letter from Henry Gardner today! it was really nice!
SUNDAY
Today was my first fast sunday here! i thought it was going to be hard and long, but surprisingly, 4:30 came around really fast! i fasted for a few different things, but i want to say thank you to everyone who included me, my district, my mission, and even my ring in your fast! sadly i still haven't found the ring, but i am thankful for everything everyone is doing in my behalf! i had district meetings all morning where my branch president had found out about my struggles with Elder Beach and he had my favorite counselor in his presidency talk to me about it! he told me that he was going to talk to Elder Beach and find out if everything was ok. We had mission conference today and had a ton of speakers! so many topics, but my favorite were on temples, courage and faith! it was really good! then we had sacrament and it was just fast and testimony meeting! i bore my testimony, IN FRENCH! it was one of the coolest experiences ever and i felt the spirit calming me and helping me speak. such an amazing experience. then we walked to the temple and it was like 300 degrees outside that's where we took the picture! it was red sunday so we looked like a family taking family pics...:) then we came back and watched mormon messages and wrote in our journals. tonights devotional was really good cause the speaker had people from the audience that were converts come up and talk about their conversion stories! it was really good. then they played legacy as a film tonight so we went to that! i remember watching that like every sunday when we were little so it reminded me a lot of home!
MONDAY
today was uneventful and boring, but good none the less! today we started class by telling everyone why we came on a mission and what lead us to choose. i may or may not have been in tears, it was very spiritual! i loved it though! while the sisters were teaching i decided to read about the saviors resurrection and the turmoil in the americas in 3rd nephi...i learned a lot! Later in the day we had another meeting with Francois and we taught him about the livre de mormon and les prophetes. he told us that one question he'd been asking god about was helping him with his sons. so we told him about families too and how they are central to god's plan and how we can be together forever and we really got him intrigued! at the end of the lesson we asked if he'd come to church avec nous ci dimanche et il dit peut-être! go translate that! (with us this Sunday and he said maybe!) it made us happy hint hint! then we learned about passe imparfait in french which is some sort of language thing that almost makes no sense so pray i get it and understand it! haha i got 6 DearElders today! 2 from mom, 2 from macy, 1 from dad, and one from grandma and grandpa Jolley! love you all!
TUESDAY
today was just another pday! funny thing though...for some reason, i was in the temple session and had this revelation that i'm gonna come home from my mission and dad's gonna have white hair like in the movie! haha i can't wait to come home from and come down the escalator and see his big white head! idk why i thought of it, but i just kept chuckling as i thought of that today!

Merci beaucoup pour les prières vous êtes offrir moi! J'ai ressentu et je suis tres bonheur pour vous! Je sais que l'eglise et vrai et Jésus-Christ et mon sauveur et redempteur. Je vous aime! Jusqu'a semaine prochain! (Thank you so much for the prayers you offer me! I am very grateful for you! I know the church is true and Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. I love you! Until next week!)

WEEK 2- "I'VE BEEN TAUGHT WELL FROM A MOTHER WHO CARES FOR ME"

They have a saying here that says "the days seem like weeks, and the weeks seem like days." And they are not kidding! I cannot believe it's been another week already! Lots happened this week and i can't wait to tell you all of them!

WEDNESDAY
So today went pretty good..we had a meeting at 8:30 with Carmelle, our investigator. we had a little small talk with her....btw she has a cat...named shat...funniest thing of my life. anyway we told her we were going to paris and she got all excited cause that's where she's from and she told us where to visit and then we taught her on the POS and she was way interested and said she'd like to learn more about the resurrection so that was a big highlight! we then asked her if she'd been praying and she said every now and then and so we asked if she felt like she could be baptized and she said if she gets an answer that she would! made me so happy! anyway that was the highlight of today...we just watched mormon messages as a district the rest of the day.
THURSDAY
Today was pretty crappy cause we had another meeting with Carmelle and we were talking about the POS again and we were legit only 10 minutes into the lesson and she asked us to stop and come back tomorrow....so we didn't even get to ask her to pray or see if she still wanted to be baptized or anything! it was awful. i never want that feeling again. anyway i was way mad the rest of the day and when i was walking down the hall one of the other teachers that i've come to know really well noticed i was mad and asked what was wrong and i went into a room with him to talk and just broke down bawling....i never want to experience that again cause it made me feel like i failed and i just hated every second of it! but i stopped crying and he just let me talk for like 25 minutes or so and then i went back to class with Frere Pehrson. the very first thing he did was show us a video, from Carmelle, who informed us that she is already a member of the Church, served in the Lyon, France mission, and is now our second teacher! which made me happy cause i knew she understood how i felt and knew she'd be ok starting fresh.
FRIDAY
We woke up and had service again today. Same as last week. We had to clean someone else's residence halls and yada yada yada...but then it was study and prep time til lunch. when we got back Carmelle, or now Soeur Waldron, was waiting to teach us! she is like the happiest person i know and i am way glad she's our teacher! found out she served in Lyon, she is actually from k-town, mom you probably know her parents?, and she's never learned french except from her mission, so there is hope for me! we also had a sub for frere pehrson tonight and he gave us an update on the world and big brother! btw dad...haven't been getting those..who's winning?! but it was a good day! I think i got the packages this day so thank you for those!:) i love packages! hint hint
SATURDAY
Today was kinda another hard day at the MTC...there's been a cold going around, aka the black plague, and sadly i fell victim this morning...i woke up and had a sore throat and cough that killed! but i've been taught well from a mother who cares for me and i knew to down some airbourne:) i need more by the way! I kinda just felt like a prisoner all day haha i've come to realize that the MTC must be a lot like spirit prison...cause all you do all day is sit in the classroom learning a language or studying..which isn't bad, but when there are 3 days a week of 11 1/2 hours of class time, you kinda go insane. and then everyone started getting mad at everyone so we all were arguing all day but whatever! But today i did find out that a girl in my district had a grandma in the mental unit at one of the places i had my CNA rotations! not the DAVIS that's my brother's name! one but another one;) she passed away in april and we got to talk about her for a while!
SUNDAY
even though i can't take a sunday nap on sundays here...i love sunday's! besides Pday it's kind of like a break from everything which makes everything so inspiring. But i did have another catastrophe today...i left my ring on a hook in the shower and when i went back to get it, it was GONE!:( so i guess there was a kid that was looking to see who's it was and i still haven't found him...if someone wants to send me a new one though, i wouldn't be mad;) jkjk don't spoil me. hopefully it shows up soon! i've said lots of prayers in my rings behalf so lets hope so;) the talks in sacrament meeting today were on the atonement, and lets say that i may or may not have been crying the whole meeting. we had a piano interlude of "Tell me the stories of Jesus" that didn't make things any better...but it was the most spiritual sacrament meeting i've ever attended. my branch presidency are the coolest men i have ever met! the one over our district just returned from being the Sweden Stockholm mission president...and yes he knows Erin Swenson and Candace Richins! so if you see president richins at church, tell him he says hello for me! his name is Brother Newell and he is such an amazing man! i love him to death!
MONDAY
Today was the longest day ever! ahhh it dragged on forever and just when you thought it was bedtime, it was 2:45 in the afternoon....wow...haha Soeur Waldron came in and taught us a really good lesson on how to begin teaching at investigators homes. it went well and then we had to teach her again, as Carmelle. it went way well and she agreed to be BAPTIZED! it was an amazing feeling! and even though it took 6 lessons instead of 1 we got her to agree! which was so amazing! the rest of the day was a lesson day with frere pehrson and he taught us about how study habits can reveal the mysteries of god..and it was way amazing! then the rest of the night was a night where we just all got together as a zone and sat in the hallway and talked...haha so even though it was such a slow day, it was a lot of fun!
TUESDAY
we decided as a district to go to the 7 AM session and we surprisingly made it! it was amazing. i love the temple and the simpleness and stress-free zone that it provides me. i can't wait to see if the paris temple will be built while i'm there! we then just did laundry and took a nap so it's been an awesome day!
Well i am so thankful for all of you! you mean the world to me! i love letters, dearelders, and packages;) i love being in on the loop! so don't keep me out! i am so thankful for you all! please keep in touch and i'll do the same! much love and til next week:) Je sais que l'Eglise est vrai et la benedictions vraiment aidons-nous(?).
